Alison Ferrier’s music has been described as, “Country punk, rock and blues meets folkish melancholy and gingham country with a dash of double denim ’70s sweetness.” The Melbourne-based musician crafts songs of nostalgia and the human condition. Ferrier’s voice is unadorned, warm and inviting, she’s a talented guitarist and an active player in Melbourne’s vibrant music scene. One third of award-winning blues powerhouse Opelousas, and more recently, experimental folk band High Ace with husband Jeff Lang, she has also released three solo studio albums.
