With a warm, honest sound, GraceJean is an award-winning folk duo whose rich harmonies, intricate guitar lines, heartfelt storytelling and cheeky stage presence leaves audiences glowing with excitement.
Traversing a musical landscape that shifts from energetic and uplifting rhythms to peaceful ballads, GraceJean are heavily influenced by folk musicians such as Missy Higgins, The Waifs, First Aid Kit, Indigo Girls and Wallis Bird.
After supporting The Black Sorrows and winning a songwriting award in the Darebin Music Feast in 2018, GraceJean released their EP ‘Live At The Skylark Room ‘18’ to a sold out show in January, performed at Newstead Live, The Village at Falls Festival and Tablelands Folk Festival, and have accepted invitations to perform at Queenscliff Music Festival 2019, Happy Wanderer 2019, Dogapalooza and Summer Renaissance ‘19-’20. The duo premiered their debut album ‘Long Black Road’ at the beautiful Thornbury Theatre on Saturday 5th October to a full ballroom, receiving high commendations on the record and live performance.
