Duplicity, an acoustic duo has been delighting audiences with its eclectic mix of jazz, blues, rock and pop since winning Best Group at the Dandenong Ranges Ukulele Festival (DRUKE) in 2017.
Duplicity has captivated audiences by combining beautiful vocals with clever arrangements and “taking ukuleles to places they don’t normally go”.
Duplicity covers a range of musical genres using a variety of instruments including ukulele, guitar, bass and percussion. Based in Melbourne’s Dandenong Ranges, Duplicity comprises Sue Kidd (Vocals, Ukulele and Percussion) and Brendan Canty (Ukulele, Guitar, Bass and Vocals). In addition to regular gigging, Duplicity has supported Lucy Wise, Hannah Schmidli, Paul Jonson (NZ), Manitoba Hal Brolund (Canada) the Screamin’ Eagles and Dead Mans Uke (UK). Duplicity is active on the festival circuit in Australia and New Zealand.
